Description
Clamp onto brake hose without crushing it for installing a brake hose barb. Optimized for use with the 180mm Knipex Pliers Wrench but works with the smaller ones as well. Should work with other parallel jaw pliers with a jaw width of 9mm or less.
Similar to the yellow hose blocks that Shimano makes for the same purpose, but smaller and with included magnets. Originally inspired by an Instagram friend (I wish I could remember who to give credit, but searching Instagram for something you did is useless) and subsequently requested.
Yes - there are cheap little screw presses that you can buy - I've got some, but this is far smaller and lighter, which might be relevant for traveling mechanics.
