We're a small shop built on a simple idea: 3D printing should solve real problems.

I've been wrenching on bikes for as long as I can remember, and I have a mechanical engineering degree that spent years going largely unused in my day job. I first encountered 3D printing back in the early '90s, when the technology was still in its infancy — I could see the potential, but it wasn't until I got into consumer-level printing in 2016 that everything clicked. Bikes, engineering, and 3D printing finally collided, and my engineering training suddenly had a purpose again. Every time something in the workshop slowed me down, I'd wonder: can I print something that makes this job easier? Turns out, almost always.

What started as making tools for myself turned into making them for friends. Fellow mechanics kept telling me I needed to sell them, and I kept resisting — this was the thing I did because I loved it, not because I needed another job. But when my designs caught the attention of renowned cycling tech journalist Dave Rome, the demand became hard to ignore, and the store launched in 2022.

Since then, we've shipped over 9,000 orders to customers around the world — from home mechanics to professionals on the World Cup MTB circuit and the WorldTour. The store currently carries over 70 items, most of which are my original designs. We also offer select designs from makers we respect, including Wheelworks out of New Zealand and Radar Laboratories in the US, along with some items based on designs shared by the UCI.

Everything is 3D printed in-house. I handle design and manufacturing, and my wife keeps the whole operation running — managing the business side, shipping, and quality control. We're a two-person team, and this is still a side gig — not because we haven't grown, but because we love what we do and want to keep it that way.
