Place the tool over the chain and run the chain through, any damaged link will catch. Much faster and more accurate than a visual check. You'll notice that it does catch on the quick link in the video, but not too much, and it's easy to confirm that it is in fact the quick link that catches.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePrinted in black and grey to quickly tell the 11 speed (grey) side from the 12 speed (black) side. Other colors are possible but would also likely wind up looking pretty bad after only a couple chains.
